From a young age, I felt a strong desire to help others. Eventually, I discovered that health and medicine was a field where I could truly make a difference. I attended the University of Central Florida, where I earned a degree in Health and Biomedical Sciences. At one point, I got charmed into thinking my dream job would be in Pharmaceutical Sales; however, I soon realized how mistaken I was.
Fast forward, I worked hard and landed my “dream job” as a Pharmaceutical representative, which opened my eyes to many days in the life of a physician, and their patients. This allowed me to see the limited amount of time physicians are forced to spend with patients. Unfortunately, with this short amount of time, they are unable to fully explore the complexity of a patients total wellness; sleep, nutrition, ongoing movement, relationships, mindset, and environment.
This experience led me to my current path, where I am committed to helping people by viewing them as their WHOLE selves. I aspire to guide others in discovering their unique qualities and empower them through nutrition and lifestyle changes to become their best selves!
In my personal life, I am a wife and a mother to a beautiful little girl. I love working out and spending time with my family any chance I get!
During my pregnancy, I read every book and attended multiple classes on how to achieve the “perfect” delivery, yet I overlooked what life would be like once the baby arrived. I soon faced the challenges of breastfeeding and the difficulties of adjusting to motherhood. Understanding the impact that food has on our bodies and minds, I have learned how to support my daughter through her nutrition. Although I was never a natural cook, finding creative ways to prepare meals for a baby and now a toddler has been a rewarding challenge. I’m eager to share any tips and tricks I’ve learned to any caregivers who may need help along the way!
